TIA Yukon has engaged Sorour Mozafary and Riya Rajesh, two graduate students at Vancouver Island University (VIU) who are seeking your data to help understand the tourism infrastructure. The primary purpose of the Yukon Tourism Asset Inventory (TAI) project is to build upon existing information relating to the current status, capacity of and business opportunities in the Yukon. The adoption of a TAI approach aims to highlight and make the most of existing assets, guiding resources and development efforts to strengthen and utilize them effectively. This project is a critical first step to understanding the complete tourism infrastructure in the Yukon, however it requires you, as the operators of the tourism industry to provide these students with your information. This information will be used to better understand each of your business, ownership, market, labour, and energy profiles to uncover potential gaps and opportunities to support your business for a sustainable future.
